Mangala Game is a classic two-player strategy board game in which each player controls six small pockets and one larger scoring store known as the Mancala. Players take turns distributing stones around the board while trying to collect more stones than their opponent before the game ends.

The goal of Mangala Game is to collect more stones in your Mancala than your opponent by making efficient moves, earning extra turns, and capturing stones whenever the opportunity appears. The player with the highest number of stones at the end of the game wins.

🪨 How to Play

At the beginning of the game, four stones are placed in each of the twelve small pockets, while both Mancala stores remain empty. Players decide who goes first before taking turns picking up all the stones from one pocket on their own side of the board.

The stones are distributed one by one in a counterclockwise direction. Whenever a player reaches their own Mancala, they place one stone inside it. However, they always skip their opponent’s Mancala and continue placing stones into the remaining pockets.

If the final stone lands inside the player’s own Mancala, they immediately earn another turn. On the other hand, if the last stone lands in an empty pocket on the player’s side, that player captures both the final stone and every stone in the directly opposite pocket before moving them into their Mancala.

The game ends when all six pockets on one side of the board become empty. The opposing player then collects all remaining stones from their side and places them into their Mancala. Finally, both players count their stones, and the player with the higher total wins the match.
