You create a mill by connecting three of your pieces in a straight line. Every time you create a mill, you may remove one of your opponent’s pieces. However, you usually cannot remove a piece that already belongs to another mill unless no other option is available.

Players then begin the movement stage after placing all their pieces. Each player moves one piece at a time to an adjacent connected point. Players continue building new mills and removing opponent pieces whenever possible.

When one player has only three pieces left, they enter the flying stage. They may jump to any empty point on the board instead of moving only to an adjacent space. The game ends when one player has only two pieces left or cannot make a legal move.
